Mehmet Çakran, who started his business career in commerce and trade at his father's İbrahim Çakran's family business in 1969, than established "Halil Dış Ticaret" in 2002 and operates currently in the dried fruits, nuts and spices sector.
Nowadays; Mehmet Çakran's sons, Halil İbrahim and Ufuk Çakran manage "Çakran Gıda", which serves as a dried fruits, nuts and spices packaging and storage facility. The establishment is situated at the Industrial Zone called "Organize Sanayı" in Antakya and has a total area of 10,000 square meters of which 3500 square meters is a closed area and 6500 square meters is an open area.
Çakran Gıda has been successful in exporting to many countries in the Middle East, Asia and America and continues to add new countries and customers to its customer portfolio day by day.
